Sweating buckets and, Date night!

It's that time again... Mamavation Monday!!

This week, I felt went really good for me. I started off the week with a kickboxing class and, ended the week off with the Mamavation EA active lower body workout. Holy hell that workout is rough. I was sweating buckets.

As far as my food intake this week, I felt it was pretty on point as well. I did indulge in a piece of lemon blueberry cake at my in laws on Sunday but, nothing worth getting upset over. I had a date night Saturday  at Bone Fish which is one of my fav restaurants and, I actually did really well at choosing healthy options. I opted for the long fin tilapia plain with a side of veggies. The waiter asked me what kinds of sauce I wanted on the fish and, I asked if I could get it plain. He looked at me like I was the worst person ever but, I did not regret my decision. The fish was still fantastic.

I always weigh-in on Friday morning but, this week I was eager to see the scale earlier. See, I had been working out alot this week and last and, I was super excited to see if the pounds were melting off. I decided to jump on the scale Thursday morning and was SHOCKED at what I saw. I weighed in at 179!!! That is a 9 lb weightloss!! I have never lost that much weight in one week. I immediately got on twitter and DMed Leah. She told me to give her a call and, we chatted about weather or not I was eating enough. She assured me that I was eating enough that it was probably just due to all the extra sweat sessions I was putting in. She did warn me though that since it was such a drastic weight drop I might gain some weight next week or even gain some muscle weight. I am ok with that I need some muscle on this body! LOL. She did point out to me that I should probably start keeping track of my calorie intake. I am going to shoot to eat around 1600 calories. I will let everyone know how that goes. I ended up losing 1 more lb by the time I took my picture on Friday! 10 lb weightloss overall this week Wahoo!

I am super excited that something is actually working for a change. I feel in the groove and ready to get fit!!

Holy moly! Nice work! I like the little Biggest Loser graphic! I wish we all could take something like that and plug in our name and numbers and use that at the end of ours posts so when we have 60 to go through it's a little easier! It's cute, good job!

Great job. I have weeks where I lose a lot. But then it all settles to the average of about 2 a week. Make sure you are eating enough though. While running, you may have to increase from 1600 on run days.

Wow, that is some awesome weight loss! You go girl! :) I love the graphic too - it would be so cool to have a widget like that for everybody! If I knew how to make/code them, I totally would.

Wow, what a great week!!! Congrats on the great loss! Isn't it wonderful to have someone who has been-there-done-that to rely on? Leah is awesome.

Holy Cow 10 pounds?! That's incredible! Leah's right, don't be shocked or upset if you post a bit of a gain next week. The extra sweat gave your system a shock so you might need a week or two to balance it out. Keep doing what you're doing, it's obviously working! :)

I can send everyone the one I made if they want one. I did it in layers so that you can edit the colors and text. You just need photoshop. I'm glad everyone likes it. I originaly asked someone to make me one and someone did, his was alot better than mine but I couldnt edit it. So here's my best take at it. LOL.

Way cool!! I lost like 5-7 the first week on Weight Watchers and it has stayed off. Were you surprised or what??

How many calories would you say you're burning daily? 1600 seems low!!

Holy cow that is a crazy loss in one week. I am glad you had the sense to reach out to someone and evaluate it. You are going about all of this in a very healthy manner. You should be proud of that.
